A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

Jake Nowakowski, a Polish-born, Australian-raised photographer, is an award-winning professional with over 20 years of experience in the news industry. Originally trained as a graphic designer, Jake’s keen eye for design naturally led him to pursue photography, transitioning into photojournalism in 2003. Since then, he has contributed to a wide range of publications across Australia, both as a freelancer and in full-time roles. For the past 13 years, he has served as a staff photographer at the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne.
